About
I’m Ethan Phail (he/him), a Communication Design & Strategy student at the College for Creative Studies and a Detroit-based designer who loves making ideas move. Whether through motion graphics, print, or UI/UX, my work explores the intersection of design, emotion, and storytelling. My process is rooted in curiosity, experimenting, refining, and finding clarity through play. I’m especially drawn to projects that blend strategy with creativity, transforming abstract ideas into thoughtful visual experiences. When I’m not designing, I’m probably curating a playlist, rewatching a favorite film, or keeping up with my favorite Detroit sports teams.
